Dreaming wide awake!

Confused weather gets equally confused dressing. The transition from hot to cold isn't as easy, you go from being shivering cold one minute to burning up and sweating the next. However, it only means that colder days are just around the corner and we should unpack all our cozy wear. Layers will be back in full action soon, but for now take baby steps. Start mixing pieces in fall colors to balance out the entire feel and suit the in-between weather. Crop tops are still my hot favorites, but, pair them with longer hemlines. Midi and maxi length skirts, culottes and trousers are perfect with crop tops, do carry a light knit to make sure you are ready to fight all mood swings this really unpredictable weather is going to throw at you.

#Festivalholic!

Confessions of a festival-holic. Ok, yes the word doesn't exist but you get my point. It is a word that describes people who wish festivals lasted forever. I absolutely do not know anyone who doesn't love this time of the year, and whats there not to love? The gifts, the decorations, lights, the happiness all around and (this one is my favorite) the legally and socially accepted excuse to get decked up in extravagant ethnic and traditional outfits. Yay!

I am a fan of anarkali lehangas with dupattas draped in a half saree style. For someone like me, who doesn't know how to drape sarees, the entire experience of getting a perfect drape could get too tiring. Lehangas are a prefered option, they are easier to walk in as compared to sarees and you don't have to spend hours draping them. I usually add just one piece of statement jewellery to keep the attention drawn only to my outfit. From the looks above, you could tell that I am not afraid of colors at all. Why hold back on bling and sparkle this Diwali cause as long as your outfit is bright, bold and perfectly fitted, you will not run out of compliments throughtout the evening.

Sunny side of Life!

Yellow mixed with blue and white is one of my favourite combinations for summer. So, before winter creeps up and paints everything in shades of black, brown and grey, lemme pretend that it's still summer for one more day, just to be able to wear a crop top. Here I am working my favourite high waisted palazzo pants and crop top with an open back. White sandals, a yellow tote and a bunch of sunflowers, Sun! You aren't missed much.
