Fearless Polka!

Polka dots are not for faint-hearted people and I say it with full belief. They are so eye catchy that if you were planning on in merging with the crowd, you might want to reconsider you strategy(like, right noww) cause honey it ain't working. Polka dots would do anything but let you lay low on fashion radar. Well, the point I am trying to sell is that if  you want to be invisible, lock all your Polka dots in a trunk and flush the key right away, but, if you wanna get bold and fearless, then follow the Polka dots(Nopes, not the Insta way, the usual dictionary follow).

This trend is so retro and spot on that you don't need to sweat much about accessorizing the look, less is more when it comes to Polka dots. I would generally keep it simple and minimal which was the original plan, but, as I said Polka dots make you go fearless. I was nothing less than a braveheart when my imagination went wild(errrr) and decided to team up my flared midi skirt in jersey material with a Fuchsia crop top. The fearless-ness dint just end there, in fact it began. Ok, I walked a barren stretch, sat on a dusty road, claimed to own a public staircase and almost jumped to the clouds. I wouldn't do any of that on days when I am busy pretending to be sane(er). So, I am never going to deny the power of dots in any form. Btw, as fas as I know and I know how far( just kidding), there are no rules to this trend(unless Anna Wintour is making a documentary around it), just embrace the style and make it your own.

Everything Denim!

Denim is an all-year round fabric and undeniably the biggest trend this season. I love denim( blue color soothes our senses down), but, the thought of wearing denim pants is not that exciting in summers(atleast to me) so, its time to embrace denim in other forms.
This dress is a perfect summer dress. It is light, short, cute and comfortable for a hot summer afternoon. I love adding colors to my look in summers and yellow is one color I am obsessed with(huh! like my others look din't scream yellow enough!). A bit of yellow with a georgette shirt used as a light layer and a slight hint of pink with my sling bag. Added a print to the look with Slip ons in neutral vintage print. Its a summer look that I'd be happy to wear over and over again to beat the heat.

Jack of all trades, master of none!

Look 1 : No work and all play!
I love to create Not-so-usual work looks that are meant for people who love to mix fun and work together. Aztec print skrit in lime green and dark blue paired with a white shirt is already good enough for the Jack in me, but, I added another dimension with canvas shoes and layered necklaces. And btw, perfect state of work mode is Bling, right?

Look 2: Tomboy meets Tomgirl
This look is for those girls who eye their brothers/boyfriends/husbands/dads clothes and make silly excuses to try them out. If you too cant get over the baggy looks, we must have been style twins in our past lives. I made the Tomboy in me happy in an anti-fit polka dot shirt teamed with a pair of loose slouchy denim pants. I am so not missing my high heels. It just doesn't get any comfier than a pair of shiny lace oxfords and a backpack.

Look 3 : Its playtime
Like white, playsuits are summer staple too. You haven't lived summer to the fullest if you haven't tried a playsuit yet. My point is that you should already own a few or buy one at this instant. I swear by chambray shirts as cover ups from the harsh sun and yes they are in trend too. So, no summer sadness, only madness.

Being a (miserable)tourist in my own city!

Have you ever pretended of being a tourist in your own city? Its not possible to go out on a vacation every weekend, but, the greed of travelling never dies, if our own city could lend us more places to explore and keep us entertained till we actually go on a real vacation and do what tourists do, sounds a good deal to me.

I have a pile of outfits that scream for a good vacation and when I was done resisting the temptation to wear them, I started looking for ways to wear them no matter what.
So, no judging! Here's me pretending to be a tourist in a Georgette light weight off-shoulder frill top with structured palazzo pants and failing miserably at it, the heat beat me to it.

I had to get the outfit shot again cause I just couldn't bear the sun and hence different bags and hats. Well, a lesson learnt after a very sweaty day is that pretend to be anything but a tourist in this heat. I am done for now, you try it at your own risk;)
