When life gives you Lemons, shop more on LimeRoad!!

Christmas is right here, so is the New year party, and here I am, still putting up a brave fight with a weather that seems to be annoyed with our existence. Its too cold to even step out of the bed, getting ready to go out shopping; which involves dressing up, driving down, cutting through all that thick traffic; sounds like a cliff hanging scene from Mission impossible? The only difference being that I am no Tom Cruise and I enjoy a much less physically exhausting activity in this season.
So, what should we do when we are frozen, but, still got a bunch of items to get off our list. These are the times I am celebrate the existence of smart phones and online shopping portals/apps(LimeRoad ). After all, happiness is to walk into an online store, in your pyjamas, anytime of the day or night, right? Just imagine yourself all snuggled up in your cozy blanket, holding a hot steaming cuppa and playing a few keys on your mobile to shop. Gifts for everybody are getting wrapped in a warehouse somewhere, to be hand delivered, to your doorstep without you even moving an inch, bliss, and your head nods in full agreement.
There are way too many online shopping sites available. It takes a while to get a hang of the jazzy layouts on these sites and apps, however, I have grown fond of one thats easy on the eye and even easier on your pocket, LimeRoad. I simply adore the self explainatory layout, and don't let me get started on how super-efficient are the filters, they make the process of narrowing down your search super easy, but, nothing beats that how instantly the app sorts all the items in the ascending/descending order of the price.

Besides all the bonuses of the online shopping, LimeRoad keeps you constantly updated with all the latest fashion, offers and sales in the #Notifications tab. It also showcases all the hot selling items in the #WhatsHot tab. And when you seek quick fashion styling ideas, all you've got to do is to check out the #myfeed section on LR for a million ideas posted by the uber stylish fashionistas.

Link is posted below for you to download the app and start shopping.Believe me, you wouldn't stop shopping, the list will only get bigger, and thats a good thing.

Skin-Anatomy!

Who doesn't enjoy a healthy glowing skin, but, I am too lazy to do anything about it everyday. So, there's nothing much to share about a skin care routine other than the things I don't do, and I am proud to say that I never sleep with my make up on.

I prefer natural, organic stuff for my skin. I avoid washing my face too often during winters as it tends to leave the skin dry. After every wash I use a mild face moisturizer (clean&clear) on my face during the day and use more oil based products during the night like milk cream/coconut oil.

I love soaking the sun longer than the healthy limit, I may have more vitamin D than blood in my body. If I were to donate some, I wouldn't think twice. However, being the children of the sun doesn't make you any brighter or fairer. In fact I get a tan every winter and grow at least 3 shades darker than my actual skin tone. So, from time to time I love to get my detanning  routine out of the closet. The best part is that I don't need to head out to a salon for an expensive facial. I have a trusted home remedy that never disappoints me. You can try it too, all you need is a spoon each of tomato juice, lemon juice, cucumber juice and honey. Mix equal parts and leave it on your skin for 10-15 minutes before a shower. It sure sounds like a task, but, it isn't. Stay in, watch some telly, play a nice song and you'll be done before you even know it. Dare you step out in the sun while you still have it on, the lemon juice makes your skin photosensitive to the sun rays and you may end up damaging your skin beyond repair.

As much as I would love to be as young and immortal as the vampires and not age a bit, I know that's not happening. I have never tried any age defying product before and this was my first time. I started using the youth code from L'oreal two months ago and the bottle is almost finished. I don't know if I have grown any younger since I started using it, but, it definitely leaves my skin light, supple and hydrated. I love that it doesn't stay on the skin and is absorbed instantly. I want to use it every morning, but, I tend to forget. So, to keep myself reminded I have to keep it on the side table, next to my bed.

Last, but, not the least is water, its not just a transparent fluid, its a free, readily available magic potion for a healthy skin. Drink at least 3 bottles a day for a glowing skin. I am finishing my 2nd bottle of  the day, you too should go and have a glass of water, nowwww.

Lazy Ninja! Yes, I am.

There isn't anything as indulging(actually disturbing) as a lazy day when you deny your only head a wash and your nails a new coat.

Lets be honest, we all have been there. I have more bad hair days than the count of hair on my head. Now, that my hair have grown longer and might as well be at their lengthiest in this lifetime, I tend to exercise my right of keeping oily-hair on more than often, I discover a number of really bad excuses too, how is saving water? I need an intervention or need to go bald...No kidding there!!

Well, on super lazy days like today, I prefer wearing skirts with anti-fit tops or fit & flare cotton dresses to feed my style hunger and make people overlook my oily hair. Stripes and interesting prints can bring any dull day back to life. This is one of my many lazy-day looks, a basic shirt never goes out of fashion and a chambray shirt is always a saviour. Flats are an obvious choice, this one is my staple one, these shoes must be tired of me, but, I am not done with them yet.

How do you trick people into believing that you're having one hell of a day, when actually you're melting faster than wax on fire? I do it with statement jewellery and interesting fun pair of shades(I have one for every mood)...and tadaaa!! I look more put together with them. Hot lippies are more than welcome and they make me look as fresh as I am on my washed-hair-days. Share yours  if you want to, or you might just wanna keep it yourself, few secrets are better not told.

I wear a Halo when you look at me!

All of these lines across my face Tell you the story of who I am
So many stories of where I've been And how I got to where I am
But these stories don't mean anything When you've got no one to tell them to
It's true... I was made for you
Truth is you were tailor-made for me, just like our wedding rings. I am falling short of words to express how lucky I am to have found you as my companion for life. If it wasn't for you, I'd still be a lost soul wandering around like a headless chicken. Today we complete 3 years together, 3 very bumpy married years and many more to come, cause life is anything but a smooth ride when I am your partner.

A confession saves you many lies, so lets get the truth out in the open, I am nothing close to a good wife, but, you are everything a good husband is supposed to be. If being a husband was a paid profession, you'd be the highest earner. All kidding aside, you play way too many roles in my very non-existent life, like how you have been switching jobs as my guarding torch, my every-once-in-a-while word of advise, my no-limit credit card, my very boring shopping buddy, my too enthusiastic coffee mate, my very happy chauffeur, my very non-creative photographer, my very sweet food critic, my ever-ready partner in crimes(crimes like flying too many kisses to Messi, listening to Adam Levine on loop and drool buckets while watching Jon Hamm, infact we drool together), but, mostly my biggest paparazzi;p I do feel like a celebrity around you, you should seriously stop putting me on a pedestal, I don't belong there.

Need I say that I still get overwhelmed when you become all ears to my non -stop story telling. Thanks for lending me your undivided attention all these years, and you better continue doing that cause you spoilt me bad and now I woudn't be happy with anything less.

Unlike you, I hate growing old to death, however, it would be lovely to grow wrinkles together, cause you have seen me looking a giant mess every morning and you still kissed me good morning. Don't know how you look past all my flaws, but, you do.

I love you honey with all my heart, lets continue being perfectly imperfect together, me still edgy so you gotta  have curves.

PS: I don't know how our day ends, all I know is how it starts, cause that's the only part I have planned, we'll figure out the rest of  the day together. So!! Here I come to wake you up to this open letter. Hot coffee awaits you in our new mugs served with (my favourite) cake and our wedding rings. Happy Anniversary Honey, love ya loads. Btw, there it is, a tear rolling down my eye.
What am I wearing?
I gave a modern twist to white bridal gowns and designed a matching two piece set in white embossed embroidered net for our 3rd wedding anniversary. High-waisted maxi skirt with a lining that ends a lil above the knees shows as much legs as it hides. Matching crop top comes with an overlay for an off-shoulder illusion. I am going to wear the complete set on our special day and plan to style them as separates later, I know I am too wise.
Why am I flaunting a phone?
The phone I am showing off in almost all the pics is Bling from Micromax. He gifted this to me on our third anniversary when we were dating and it marked a milestone in our relationship. I din't use it for long as it hardly does anything other than folding out into a beautiful vanity mirror. I still love the phone and treasure it like a jewel in my collection, it has Swarovski crystals after all. I dug it out for our third wedding anniversary to mark another milestone. It already comes packed with more memories than I can recollect and am going to add  some more to the pile.
